The Bodyworker has been privileged to have some of the finest ambient music in the world. This would not be possible without the help of record company promotion and copyright permission. I want to thank in particular Sugo Music, who was our original music sponsor, for their faith in us early on.

Shiatsu

Begin the healing journey with music composed for relaxation. Shiatsu treatments focus on balancing the energy of the internal organs. This music can be used during a shiatsu massage or other bodywork session to put you or your clients at ease and create a relaxed atmosphere.

Gurdjieff's Music for Movements as played by my friend Wim Van Dullemen is simply amazing. Wim's rendition is the most exact of the many contemporary recordings, his study of the laws of this science is thorough. A must for those interested in the sacred music of Gurdjieff. As Wim says in the liner notes, this music leads the listener into an unknown territory. This is the first of several two cd sets which will trace the entire history of the movements music.

Brian Eno is noted as the grandfather and creator of ambient music. He is one of the most prolific and eccentric composer/performers of modern times. Perhaps his biggest influence on modern music has been his 'treatments,' or production techniques that he applies to artists from U2 to Harold Budd. Shown here is his latest solo effort and my favorite, Spinner. Thanks to our friends at Gyroscope Records.

Also from our Gyroscope friends is Brian's brother Roger Eno, whose mood-evoking piano provides a comfortable, safe environment for the deepest levels of work. Shown is his newest release, Swimming. This album is featured in the new Bodyworker WatersomaZen episode.

From Peter Kater's label EarthSea Records we have several pieces, my favorite of which is Skeleton Woman by Flesh and Bone, a band including Kater, his wife Chris White and cellist David Darling, among others. This haunting album is based on the book "The Woman Who Runs With The Wolves" by Clarissa Pinkola Estes, Ph.D.

Most people are more familiar with Peter playing with Native American Flutist R. Carlos Nakai. This live concert of new songs shows the mastery that can be developed when two talented individuals work together honoring the spirit.

Hidden Sources is a new cd of Gurdjieff/Dehartmann music that has a really sensible feel to it; it is genuine and without sentimentality. Alessandra Celletti is an Italian musician who has several recordings to her credit. See the site for music samples!
Music with a ring of truth, Bridge to the Unseen is a contemporary recording of the music of G.I.Gurdjieff. It has an effect on the emotions you won't find in any other music. A collection of truly sacred hymns that reveals more with each listening.
